We have been in school for 2 weeks now.  Tell me what you like best about our second grade class.

Write a hamburger paragraph to tell me about something fun you did over spring break.  Remember, a hamburger paragraph has a main idea sentence, two or more details, and a closing sentence.  Have fun writing!

I guess I should say we are having an “ice” day today!   Write 4 adjectives that describe ice.  Then tell me if you like ice or if you don’t like ice and write a sentence or two telling me why.

We are having two snow days in a row.  Write in complete sentences telling something fun you did on your snow days.  Snow days are fun but they have to be made up!

Christmas is a special time of the year.  Tell what it means to you and your family.  Also, tell something special you will be doing during our two week vacation time.

Ms. Ramer read The Deer In The Wood by Laura Ingalls Wilder.  In this story Pa went deer hunting and saw a deer but did not shoot it.  He remembered that his family was counting on him to bring home some meat for supper so he told himself the next time he saw a deer he would shoot it.  He saw a deer and her fawn but did not shoot them either.  If you were Pa, what would you have done?  Explain your answer in complete sentences.

Thanksgiving is this month.  Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful.  Think of two or three things you are thankful for.  Write them in complete sentences.  Happy Thanksgiving!!

Now that we are in our 2nd quarter of school,  please tell me the most difficult skill you learned in 1st quarter.  Remember to write in complete sentences.
